- Ummm, I have been waiting for the bitmap fencing since the beginning of
- PGS3.1, but maybe I am waiting for the wrong feature?
-
- I have a bunch of PgS2.2 documents in which I have overlaid several
- bitmaps, using the "clear" or "none" (forget the terminology) as the
- background color to allow the images to display through each other, then
- I use a series of white shapes to mask parts of the "behind" images to
- keep them from showing through. This was a somewhat kludgy but effective
- way to crop and overlap my bitmaps without having to do a lot of
- redrawing, of course.
-
- When I tried this with PgS3.0 I could not find a background setting to
- allow me to do this, and had gotten the impression from the manual that
- the fencing feature would give me a more direct method of accomplishing
- this feat.
-
- Am I wrong, and if so, do you have a suggestion as to how I can
- accomplish this? I hate the thought of merging all my bitmaps into
- composite images......
-
- Also, I tried in PGS3.0g to "leave out" a 3.5 meg color image I wanted to
- send to my PrimeraPro, but the program insisted on including it in the
- document resulting in a 3.6 meg document - was this not implemented in
- 3.0g and is it fixed now, or did I exceed the limits of the program's
- ability to handle left-out images?
-
- Thanks for any response.
